On the positive side of things, it seems like Chris is vocalizing a bit more than usual lately, somewhat correlated with recently stopping the anti-convulsant Gabapentin?
For instance, when we shifted him up in the bed last night, he groaned at us, like, “Stop moving me around, y’all!”. Makes ya smile.
I’m a member on the XL Forum (jasonv) and just read about the unfortunate incident. I did not know Chris other than seeing replies to posts. From what I just read, seems like he’s making progress. As I’ve had a couple of my own brushes and my Dad was killed on his bike while riding, I wish Chris’s family and friends all the best. Be strong.
