{"id":70,"date":"2010-10-08T09:55:19","date_gmt":"2010-10-08T14:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chrisgiles.org\/blog\/?p=70"},"modified":"2010-10-08T10:00:04","modified_gmt":"2010-10-08T15:00:04","slug":"general-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chrisgiles.org\/blog\/2010\/10\/08\/general-update\/","title":{"rendered":"General update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Figured I&#8217;d also provide a general status update.\u00a0 We&#8217;re not sure where we&#8217;re heading next.\u00a0 And we&#8217;re not sure <em>when<\/em> &#8220;next&#8221; is at this point.\u00a0 Chris is too young for a nursing home to take him, but the hospital and his insurance are balking about him staying at Texas NeuroRehab (a long-term acute care facility).<\/p>\n<p>Last night was shower night for Chris (done by my mom and one of the hospital techs, John);\u00a0 Chris always looks very relaxed after getting cleaned up in the shower chair.\u00a0 My girlfriend Maria and her dad came down to the hospital last night, too &#8211; always good for Chris to see and hear new people.\u00a0 We left around 22:15 &#8211; Chris was conked out.<\/p>\n<p>Along those lines, and I suppose while we&#8217;re still at Texas Neuro:\u00a0 I&#8217;d like to encourage folks to visit Chris this weekend.\u00a0 We&#8217;re doing the moto thing on Sunday, but we&#8217;ll naturally be there all weekend with Chris (weekend visiting hours are noon-9pm).<\/p>\n<p>Texas NeuroRehab<br \/>\nBluebonnet Hospital<br \/>\n1604 W.
